Sectional Dismantling

Sectional dismantling is used to remove a tree when it is overhanging property or the roadway, or when the space is too confined to fell the tree from the ground.

It is also used for trees which are overhanging telephone lines.

The tree is dismantled in stages using ropes and pulleys to lower the timber in a controlled manner.

This gives the assurance of no damage occurring during the felling operation.

The images below show a large Sycamore which was in the corner of a rear garden.

It was sectionally dismantled using appropriate lowering systems until it was reduced to a height where the remaining trunk could be felled into the garden. The remaining stump was then ground out.

Tree Felling

Where ground conditions and space allow trees can be felled from ground level.
